I went on a cookie making spree here lately. I made these and also two different types of Oreo cookies, and a strawberry cheesecake cookie. They all turned out well worth it and worth making again. I will get you posted on the other three recipes soon, but here's the first of many to come. They are very refreshing with a hint of orange and are the perfect way to get a little bit of spring in the middle of all this snow. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and both sugars, then beat in the egg and vanilla.
Stir in the flour mixture to the wet mixture until combined.
Add the orange zest and orange juice and mix just until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and drop by rounded tablespoon on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, just until golden brown. Be careful not to over bake, they are best when still a little gooey in the middle. Be sure to try some warm!
